I am going to put some stuff in here that will probably confuse you at first .Once you see it in action, it will all fall into place. Go to the training site and just browse around, that way you will be a little more comfortable with it. I am going to put down step by step instructions on how to create and run a tournament. Some of the steps will involve doing this in the fake tournament area @ www.myleague.com/tdtraining .Please feel free to practice when your trainer is not online, the more you practice, the easier it will all become for you. Your Trainer will go through it a few times with you, and then you may run through it a few times on your own. Your trainer will then go thru it with you one final time, just to make sure you are okay with it, and then There will always be an experienced Host with you for your first few tournaments. They will be logged onto your tournament with you as you run your first couple games, and can help you if you need them to. Log into the Td Training site @ www.myleague.com/tdtraining .


Click on login . A red box will come up for your name and password.For training purposes put in TD for the name and 1234 for your password. Now click Log In. Choose select TD training from the drop down menu .A list of TD links will come up.To make a tournament click on CREATE TOURNAMENT .You will see a drop down menu there. Choosing which tournament style you want to host. SINGLE ELIMINATION, DOUBLE ELIMINATION OR SWISS.

For starters we are going to set for Single Elimination Now click on the that one from the menu. You will now hit SUBMIT. A calendar will now come up with todays date highlighted in red . Click on that date to set for your fake tournament. For training, click on any open time there is for today. Please write the time you have set your game for YOUR NAME in Capital Letters,this will will make it Now it is time to put in the information for your tournament. First name your tournament (welcome to my 1st tournament ).Location: easy for you to find it. If you are setting a real game please use this example:(Dcr*Non*50's*Trailer) This will let your players know where to go. Tourney style: Do nothing here. Number of rounds is 8. Minutes between round start time is 5. Go all the way down to LADDERBUX SETTINGS HELP ( the options in between doesn't matter for right now ). You see below NO ENTRY FEE, NO PRIZE OR LADDERBUX REWARDS. Click the circle beside it. Until you have hosted 10 tournaments you cannot charge a fee.Now click CREATE TOURNAMENT. Click on RETURN TO ADMINISTER TOURNEY (RTA) you will do RTA numerous times.

You will then come to your td page. Please take time to look this page over carefully. Next we are going to click on Open Check in. Now click RTA.

While in traing we have to put in fake people into your game. You will find this list at the main Training page ( www.myleague.com/tdtraining ). You can click on Tournament Main Page at top of your TD center. This is the registration page for the game you just created.Register 5-6 players from the list. The password will always be 123. Now that you have registered the fake players you can close out the registration page and return to your TD page. Refresh your Td page. Now you will see a list of players on the left at the bottom. This is the players that are registered for your game the staus box will tell you if your players are registered or checked in. If this says they are registered than those players will need to check in before you close or they will be dropped from the game. This is very important to check. Write down the names of your players for Roll Call. If a player wishes to withdraw from game you will go to REMOVE TEAM. Go to their name and hit the Remove Team button. Then RTA. You will now see the player has been removed. Please refresh the page before you proceed to next step.

You will see ACTIONS on right side of page. Next step shows the status of your tournament. ( open check in,close registration,start game).Click on Close Registration then RTA. Next click on Start Tournament. ( If you had a player wanting in at this point you would go to reopen check in then repeat steps after they have checked in.) Click RTA.Now you are ready to begin your game.

Click on ROUND 1. You will then go to page called Change/Post Match Result. you will see the pairs for your game. Those in yellow will play round 1 those in red will have a bye. Call the pairs and byes in room. (angel vs karla glu2 )example. Write down your pairs and circle the winners. Next you will click on who the winner of first pair was then RTA,go to next pair and do same so on and so on until all winners have been reported. If you click on wrong person you can adjust the win by clicking right name before proceeding to next round. Once all pairs have been reported click RTA. From here go to your next round and repeat all the steps above. Once you have a winner you will see on your TD page UPDATE T.D. STATS. ( Report your winner in the game romm at this point) At bottom you will see Players/Teams and Standings box. Your winner will be the one with most wins or last person in Standings box. Now click on Update T.D. Stats. Yes to proceed. Then RTA. Click on Update Player Tournament Records. RTA. Click Process Entry Fees, RTA,Click Award Ladder Bux,RTA,Click Report Matches to Ladder,RTA,Close Out Tournament. If you have another game scheduled you would now RTA if not just close out.
